Procedure in Windows NT 4.0
 
No. Procedure
1 Call the event viewer with "Start > Programs > Administration (General) > Event Viewer".
2 Using the menu item "Protocol > System" or "Protocol > Application" you can switch to the protocol concerned.
3 Save the data from both protocols in each case with "Protocol > Save as..." and select the file type *.EVT.
4 If possible, archive the stored protocols before sending them to Technical Support, for example in a .zip archive. This greatly reduces the volume of data to be transferred.
