DESCRIPTION:

General

The F Configuration Tool is part of S7 Distributed Safety and S7 F Systems. It provides fail-safe modules in Hardware Config of STEP 7 V5.

Since the data of release for new fail-safe modules is not always identical to that of a new package for S7 Distributed Safety or S7 F Systems, the individual versions are available for download here.

Installation of the software

Administrator rights

The software can only be installed with administrator rights.

Setup

Before starting the installation, exit all applications and close the "Control Panel" window. The software is installed through a user-guided setup which is launched from the corresponding directory by double-clicking on the SETUP program in Windows Explorer. The S7 F Configuration Pack software is installed.

Uninstalling

Software products must be uninstalled in compliance with MS Windows. To do this, remove your software package (e.g. SIMATIC S7 F Configuration Pack) with the MS Windows application "Software" (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features).
