Effective 10/01/2007, the products SIMATIC ProTool/Lite, ProTool, ProTool/Pro Configuration and Runtime as well as ProAgent for ProTool will be classified phased-out products. This means that the products affected by this will no longer be listed in the catalog. They, however, are still available for delivery for at least 1 more year.  

The reason behind this step is that all panels exclusively configurable with ProTool/Lite or ProTool (e.g. OP 7/17) are by now only available as spare parts. All other currently available panels can be configured with the successor software SIMATIC WinCC flexible.

Total Discontinuation

Parallel to the phase-out of the ProTool Software, the corresponding hardcopy documentation will be totally discontinued effective 10/01/2007. After this date, the documentation will no longer be orderable, but remain available for download from the Customer Support Website (manuals).
