Why does the lamp not light even though a "1" signal is at the output of the digital output module (rated load voltage 120/230V AC)?
Is there any way of configuring an ET 200 multi-tiered?
What options does the ET 200S have for temperature compensation when using thermocouples?

Part number:

Request : Which mounting positions are permissible?

Suggestion : For the system ET200S (6ES7) included the motor starters
3RK1301 and the modules 3RK1903 a vertical mounting position on rail is
   permissible.

The best position is the vertical mounting of the devices on horizontal
rails, so that the inscription is written correctly, but it is also possible
to turn the devices by 180°, so that the inscription is up side down. It is
also possible to turn the devices by 90°, so that the rail is mounted
vertical and the devices are mounted horizontal.

Please take care of the temperature in the switch cabinet. In dependence of
the mounting position, the temperature and the current derating factors are
to consider and / or distance modules are to mount.

For the horizontal mounting of the rail (vertical mounting of the devices)
you will find a table in the manual in chapter 2.4.

For the vertical mounting of the rail (horizontal mounting of the devices)
the following derating factors should be considered:
   Circuit breaker smaller/equal 6,3A: unil40°C no derating
Circuit breaker bigger/equal 6,3A: unil 30°C no derating
   Circuit breaker bigger/equal 6,3A: 30°C unil 40°C with 90% of Ie
