Description You have four options:
- Logging on with chip card and with password:
Setting: chip card on in Control Panel and off in User Administrator.
- Logging on only with chip card:
Setting: chip card on in Control Panel and on in User Administrator.
- Logging on only with password:
Setting: chip card off in Control Panel and off in User Administrator.
- Logging on neither with chip card nor with password:
Setting: chip card off in Control Panel and on in User Administrator.
Making the settings:
- In the Control Panel open the following tool

In the box that opens you select the required setting, e.g. chip-card reader off:
- In the User Administrator activate the following checkbox if you only want to work with the chip-card reader.

Note: If you are working with the PCS7 V4.01, then you won't find the "WinCC Chip Card Terminal Configuration" dialog box in the Control Panel, but in WinCC in the Control Center, if you go for Properties in the User Administrator.
