Description
Using the SOFTNET Security Client V4.0 (SSC V4) you configure a PC/PG so that it can automatically establish a secure IPsec tunnel connection in the VPN (Virtual Private Network) to one or more of the security modules below:

• SCALANCE S
• SCALANCE M875
• MD74x-1

PG/PC applications like NCM Diagnose and STEP 7 can access over a tunnel connection devices or networks in an internal network protected by the security module.

Note

• Secure IPsec tunnel connections in the VPN (Virtual Private Network) are not enabled between SSC V4 and CPx43-1 Advanced V3.

• With SOFTNET Security Client V4.0 HF1 and higher it is possible to establish an IPsec tunnel connection to the CPx43-1 Advanced V3.
