Description
If you have WinCC flexible or WinCC V7.0 RT installed on your computer, you need either the license for the upgrade (or for the PowerPack).
The table below explains the options available for license upgrading.

If you still do not have a version of WinCC flexible or WinCC V7.0 RT installed on your computer, you need the full license for WinCC V11 Engineering, WinCC Runtime Advanced V11 or WinCC Runtime Professional V11.

WinCC flexible 2008 (ES and RT) to WinCC V11
(WinCC flexible 2008 Advanced to WinCC V11 Advanced, for example)

Note

• If you upgrade WinCC flexible 2008 to WinCC V11 with a upgrade license you get a combo license. This combo license is valid for WinCC flexible 2008 and WinCC V11.
  With a full license for WinCC V11 you can only operate with WinCC V11.
• Versions older than WinCC flexible 2008 should be upgraded to WinCC flexible 2008.

WinCC V7 Runtime to WinCC Runtime Professional V11

It is not possible to upgrade from WinCC V7 RC  to V11.
