Aim of the application
This function example describes the configuration for use of an ASIsafe motor
starter. The ASIsafe motor starter is switched via the AS-i bus for operational
purposes and for safe shutdown. An AS-i SlimLine S45F module is used for
controlling the contactors of the ASIsafe motor starter. This module has a safe AS-i
output as well as standard inputs and outputs. Operational switching is carried out
via the standard AS-i outputs, while safety-oriented tripping is guaranteed via the
safe AS-i output.
