Production of the RFID Handheld Service and Test Unit for MOBY D (order no. 6GT2603-0AA10), the RFID reading heads of MOBY D (order no. 6GT2603-1AA00,-1AA10) and the PSION Workabout PRO basic unit (order no. 6GT2003-0AA10) will be discontinued effective June 30, 2011. The products 6GT2603-0AA10 and 6GT2003-0AA10 will cease to be available from this point on, but can still be repaired. Hand terminals are not available on a spare part basis, they can only be repaired on a turnaround basis (same unit back). The reading heads (order no. 6GT2603-1AA00,-1AA10) are available as spare parts without having to return the defective unit.
Recommended successor product
The mobile RF310M hand terminal is available for use with ISO 15693 transponders of MOBY D (MDS Dxxx). Older MOBY D data carriers with 44-Byte user memory (6GT2600-0AA00, -0AB00) cannot be used with RF310M. In this case please speak to your contact partner at your local Siemens office.
