Question:
When the drive is switched off and switched on again via pulse enable, a waiting time to start the drive is too long (>2s).

Answer:
Please check two points:

  1. Check the value in the parameter p0862 "Power unit on delay". This value must be ZERO, otherwise long delay times will be occur between switch off the drive and switch on again.
  2. In SINAMICS Motor Modules there is a switch debounce time in EEPROM of power module implemented. The value is proportional to the power range of Motor Module.
    • As of FW V4.3 the switch debounce time can be changed through the parameter p0868.
    • For FW V2.6 please contact your regional Siemens Cranes-Sales for further support.
