The current carrying capacity of the power cables has been dimensioned in
accordance with EN60204-1, Part 1, current-carrying capacity of PVC isolated
copper cables. Thus, in the new
NCSD configurator for A&D MC products, the cable-motor assignment is based
on the EN revisions.
This means that there is a difference to the information in the current
Catalog NC60.1, i.e. lower cross-sections are selected than are specified
in the Catalog.
1. Technology
-------------
The cross-sections of the power cables are dimensioned according to
EN60204, Part 1; Edition 1997. Cable routing type C was used as basis with
a 40 degrees C ambient temperature. If other ambient conditions prevail or
other routing types are used in a particular application, then the
possible cable current must be adapted to the specified conditions
corresponding to the Standard!
