Description
High switch-on current peaks that lead to switch-off can occur when many or all of the 24V consumers of a power supply are switched on at the same time. To prevent high switch-on current peaks, you should switch on consumers one after the other. You can use the SITOP PSE200U electronic selectivity module for this. You can set a connect delay on this module, which ensures that the 4 available output circuits are connected one after the other.
This sequential switching on can greatly reduce the total current that the power supply has to provide. This avoids the risk of a voltage dip at switch-on. It might even be possible to implement a power supply with a lower rated current.

The SITOP PSE200U electronic selectivity module is provided in two versions:
SITOP PSE200U, order number 6EP1961-2BA11: 0.5 - 3 A (42248945)
SITOP PSE200U, order number 6EP1961-2BA21: 3 - 10 A (42248587
