Normally, MICROMASTER expects a steady-state ON / OFF command (switch). In order to control a MICROMASTER drive using a pushbutton (pulse/momentary contact signal), then generally a relay interconnection is required. However, for frequency inverters that have free function blocks (FFB), then these can also be used to control an inverter using pushbuttons.
As an example, the “ON / OFF 1” (P0840) is used in the following examples. However, there are additional options to realize the interconnection e.g. “ON/OFF 1 with reversing” (P0842) and “Reversing” (P1113), refer to the Parameter List and Function Manual.
Exclusion:
- This FAQ can be used for MICROMASTER 430, 440 and SINAMICS G120 with CU240x FW < V4.0.
- Only a limited number of FFB are available.
The following parameter assignments should be made for the examples:
Example 1: ON/OFF 1 using one NO contact and one NC contact, 2 digital inputs
