Description: Proceed as follows if, after dearchiving a STEP 7 project and then transferring the data, you cannot run diagnostics via ProAgent on the operator panel and you get an error message indicating that there is an error in the diagnostics block.
Remedy:
Check whether the diagnostics data of ProAgent in WinCC flexible are correctly activated (under "Project > Diagnostics > ProAgent"). If not and there is no diagnostics data, you have to reinsert the station for communication in the "Connections" dialog. The procedure for this is described in the table below:
| No. |
Procedure: |
| 1 |
In WinCC flexible you open the dialog "Project > Communication > Connections" and open the drop-down menu under "Station" as shown in Fig. 01. Select the item "No station".

The diagnostics data is once again available in the dialog "Project > Diagnostics > ProAgent". Activate the associated name of the connection as shown in Fig. 03 (example: "Verbindung_1" (Connection_1")).

In WinCC flexible, you compile the configuration with the menu command "Project > Generator > Generate". |
| 5 |
Then open the "Select devices for transfer" dialog via "Project > Transfer > Transfer settings..." and check your settings:
- Mode (e.g. Ethernet)
- Computer name or IP address
|
| 6 |
Click on the "Transfer" button to download the data for WinCC flexible and ProAgent to the operator panel. Now it is possible to run diagnostics again. |
