Part number:

Description:
When using the PDF Viewer with the MP377, you must make sure that the PDF file has been created for Acrobat Version 5.x (PDF 1.4).
Generally, there are certain restrictions when using the WinCE viewers. These restrictions are listed on the Microsoft website at
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms861508.aspx.

Converting a Word document into a specific version of PDF:
There is the option of saving Word documents in a specified PDF version.
For this you need an Adobe Acrobat product that supports generation of PDF files.

  1. In your Word document you select "File - Print...".
  2. In the "Printer > Name" field you select "Adobe PDF" as printer and open the Properties of the "Adobe PDF" printer.
  3. Under the item "Edit..." next to the "Default Settings" field you can define the relevant version under "File Options > Compatibility".
In this example it is the version "Acrobat 5.0 (PDF 1.4)".
  4. Acknowledge the entry with "OK".
