Incorrect connection of the CPM block in the following process tag types: PIDCTRL_ConPerMon, PIDCTRL_DistComp, PIDCTRL_GainSched!
Part number:

Description:
The following process tag types in the Templates\Control folder in the PCS7 APC V7.0 library are incorrectly connected:

  • PIDCTRL_ConPerMon
  • PIDCTRL_DistComp
  • PIDCTRL_GainSched

With these process tag types, the PV-Mon input of the CPM block PID_cpm is incorrectly connected with the output OUT of the process simulation, e.g. MUL_R.ProcGain. The function of the CPM block is thus lost.

Remedy:
Connect PV_Mon to output V of the analog input driver CH_AI.PV_IN, so that the real actual value is used instead of the simulated actual value.
