Instructions
The command libraries "MAP SERV Q0.0" and "MAP SERV Q0.1" (MAP SERV = Micro Automation Positioning SERVo) enable positioning of a servo drive axis using the S7-200 pulse interface A0.0 (Q0.0) and A0.1 (Q0.1).

If both libraries are used in an S7-200 project, you can use two axes per S7-200 controller.

Downloads
The download "SERV_MAP_d.pdf" consists of the description of the library blocks and the sample program "MAP SERV Q0.0.mwp" in English and the ZIP file "MAP_SERV.zip" contains the libraries "map serv Q0.0.mwl" and "map serv Q0.1.mwl", as well as the sample program "MAP SERV Q0.0.mwp" for the library "MAP SERV Q0.0".

Version update
The current library version 1.8 includes the following changes:

  • Optimization of the limit switch recognition for the function "Q0_x_MoveVelocity"
  • Activating the parameter "Disable_Auto_Stop"
  • Optimization of the stopping performance "Q0_x_Stop" during the reference point search "Q0_x_Home"

The following table shows the maximum pulse output frequency of the S7-200 CPUs with 24 V DC output A0.0 and A0.1:

CPU Pulse frequency (max.) [kHz]
221 20
222 20
224 20
224XP 100
226 20
