This contains version V4.3 SP2 of the STARTER commissioning tool for the SINAMICS, SIMATIC ET200 FC and MICROMASTER 4 drive systems. The download also contains the additive SINAMICS Support Packages in the file "Vol_2a_STARTER_V43_SP2_ SSPs_G110_G120.zip" and "Vol_2b_STARTER_V43_SP2_ SSPs_Family_Integrated":

These SSPs are automatically installed by the STARTER setup when the checkboxes are activated in the selection screen form.
SINAMICS MICROMASTER STARTER can be used free of charge without entering a license key. However, for legal licensing reasons, you should be in possession of a STARTER license certificate (any version). If this is not the case, you can also order the current STARTER version including license certificate on a DVD. Order number: 6SL3072-0AA00-0AG0.
STARTER V4.3 SP2 supports German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.

SINAMICS MICROMASTER STARTER V4.3 SP1 HF5 (previous version) |
You can find HotFix 5 for STARTER version V4.3 SP1 HF2 here. Hotfix 5 involves an add-on setup to the normal STARTER setup V4.3 SP1 HF2, in which the function restrictions of STARTER version V4.3 SP1 HF2 have been resolved.
Installation of Hotfix 5 is only recommended for those customers who are affected by the following function restrictions.
- Restrictions concerning the online communication between the drive and the STARTER PC that have been resolved:
Windows 7 (64 bit) – device driver installation for the USB-USS emulation unsuccessful (AP01308651) This driver is only used for SINAMICS G120 with firmware version V4.3.2. ALL other SINAMICS G120 drives do not require this driver.
- Restrictions concerning the use of the Safety Integrated functions that have been resolved:
With the function "Save under" with the option "With reorganization (slow)" or with the option "With reorganization", the addresses F_Dest_Add are reset to their default value (AP01385374¸ AP01393807).
A PROFIsafe connection via PROFINET between the configured modules (SIMATIC S7 F-CPUs and SINAMICS S120) is not possible; combination STARTER V4.3.1.2 and Step 7 V5.5.2; (AP01405181)
- Restrictions concerning the use of the DCC SINAMICS that have been resolved:
With the function "Save under" with the option "With reorganization (slow)" or with the option "With reorganization", the drive data (DOs) and DCC charts of a project are shifted or deleted (AP01375004)
Important note regarding handling projects:
1. Open the project with STARTER V4.3.1 HF5
2. Save the project with STARTER V4.3.1 HF5
3. Then run the option "With reorganization (slow)" or the option "With reorganization".
HF5 can only be installed if STARTER V4.3 SP1 HF2 (V4.3.1.2) has already been installed on the PC. For HotFix 5, the same minimum preconditions apply as for STARTER V4.3 SP1 HF2 itself.
