Various encoder types (e.g. 1XP8001-1 (HTL) and 1XP8001-2 (TTL)) can be used to sense the required speed and position signals.
The MICROMASTER 4 pulse encoder module is designed so that all of the usual digital HTL and TTL pulse encoders can be used with the MICROMASTER 430/440 series of drive inverters.
The same is true for the SINAMICS G120 with CU240S series, whereby the evaluation of the encoder signals is integrated in the CU240S.
