The updated version 2.5.5 of the JAVA S7 Beans class library is now available for downloading. It enables the creation of customized JAVA-based Web applications for SIMATIC NET communication processors.

In contrast to ready-made JAVA applets, that can only be included and parametrized in HTML pages, the JAVA beans permit the creation of customized applets.

The required JAVA class library version 2.5.5 features the following improvements:

·         Optimized use of the parameterization screenforms of the Borland Tools JBuilder

·         Size indication and label entry available for graphical representation of the "CLState3LED" and "CLStateLED" beans.

The beans have been tested with the following development tools:

·         JBuilder 7 Enterprise

·         JBuilder X Enterprise

·         JBuilder 2005 Enterprise

·         JBuilder 2006 Enterprise
 

The following browsers were tested:

·         MS Internet Explorer V6

·         Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7

·         Mozilla Firefox 1.5

The JAVA S7 beans library can be used for the following CPs:

·         CP343-1Advanced

·         CP443-1IT

·         CP443-1Advanced
