Answer T1 How can you set important system messages, like failure of the partner server in the case of loss of redundancy, to "requires acknowledgment"?
When you create an OS project, system messages are generated from the standard WinCC environment when the OS project editor is run. These are all assigned to the message class "System, need not be acknowledged". Individual messages, like failure of a redundant partner, might however be so important that they should be set to "requires acknowledgment". For this it is recommended to proceed as follows:
Warning: A message of the class "System, requires acknowledgment" is not displayed in any of the standard message lists (new list, old list, outgoing list, operation list, control system list, chronicle list). A corresponding extended selection can also be made offline or online.
Note:
These changes are not deleted after a renewed OS compilation, not even if you select "Overall reset". The changes are also retained after running the OS project editor.
Only running the OS project editor with the setting "Complete configuration" resets all the changes. However, this setting must be made manually each time you call the OS project editor, so that you cannot reset changes by mistake.

Answer P1
Why are messages that cannot be acknowledged displayed in the reloaded message list?
The reloaded message list contains messages that cannot be acknowledged. The message can only be acknowledged when it is generated again.
The OS server actively fetches all the messages currently available from all the automation systems when Runtime is started and displays them (with crossed-out time stamp, because that is the time of the startup, but not the time of when the fault occurred).
If the property "Reload Message List After Power Failure" is selected in the Message archive, then the old contents of the message archive are also fetched from a buffer, which means that many entries are in duplicate. In a PCS 7 project the property "Reload Message List After Power Failure" should not be enabled at all.
If this property is enabled, messages are reloaded and possibly also messages that might have already been acknowledged. The associated driver block in the PCS 7 AS cannot accept such a message , because it has already been acknowledged.
Furthermore, the entries below are to be found in "WinCC_Sys*.log" (sample message):
....,NRMS7PMC,CquitFreiSperr::CreateTelegram: for msg-number 874592975 unknown function dwNotify
You can avoid this state by making the following entry in the message archive:
| No. |
Procedure |

In the Alarm Logging under "Archive Configuration > Message archive" you deselect the property "Reload Message List After Power Failure".
