QUESTION:
In an OP27/TP27 configuration under Pro Tool Version 4.x the screen
goes dark after 30 minutes. How can I change this time?
ANSWER:
In order to prolong the
life of the LCD background illumination a delay time of 30 minutes
is set for the "Disable Screen” function in the standard
configuration for OP27 and TP27.
You can change this setting.
Procedure:
- Select the "Initialize"
function under Target System -> Functions.
- Activate the "Functions"
button.
- Click the "Disable Screen”
function.
- Activate the "Parameters”
button.
- In the "Constants” field
enter a time (Idle Time) between 0 and 50 minutes.
