ANSWER:
If on the index page of the electronic manual CD SIMATIC PCS 7 V6.0 the full-text search is opened to search the CD for a certain term, first of all a dialog window opens. In this dialog window, the search term must be entered and all other settings for the full-text search must be implemented.

Attention:
This setting option is only provided in the English user interface of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The search e. g. in the German Text of the manuals is not affected by this and works properly. If necessary, change the default user language in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Please choose the following settings:

• Turn off the option "Word Stemming".
• Set the option "Sounds Like".

Example:
You are looking for the term "simulation" without the option "sounds like". As a result, 15 manuals/places of use will be found. After activation of the option "Sounds like", the result of the full-text search will improve to 36 manuals. With the option "Word Stemming" activated and "Sounds like" deactivated, you will get 0 results.
