Part number:

Description:
You have opened the editor for the Storage options. Even if you have not made any settings, WinCC automatically adds the 'ArchSRV' task to the startup list of the computer when you close the Storage editor with the "OK" button. This means that when you start Runtime, the corresponding license is queried. The "Cancel" button does not lead to a license check in Runtime.

Remedy:

  • Close WinCC Runtime
  • Delete the 'ArchSRV' task manually from the startup list of the computer.

  • Close the WinCC Control Center.
  • The next time you start WinCC Runtime there will be no license message about Storage.
