Thanks to its light, compact operator panels and the upright
format, SIJECT 15/16 can be adapted to almost any
environment.
Furthermore, the
control functions are separately accommodated in a compact
interface and can be connected to the operator panel using a cable.
SIJECT is also protected against possible interference (noise,
disturbances) as a result of the rugged metal housing. The operator
panel and control unit can be easily installed without requiring
any tools; I/O signals are connected via a standard
connector.
CI15 only has
digital inputs; CI15+ can support an additional two analog inputs
(linear scale). CI15 and also CI15+ use a soft PLC (Siject Project
Tool). Various programming versions are possible, including the
programming language "ladder diagram". The device can be programmed
using any PC with RS232 interface.

SIJECT 16 is orientated to a higher
market segment. SIJECT 16 can be combined with other OPs via the
MPI interface. It can be expanded using all of the standard S7-300
I/O modules via the integrated P bus - interface and an interface
module (IM 361). CI16DP has a PROFIBUS interface and can therefore
be integrated into distributed control structures.
A SIMATIC S7-314 can be used as hardware PLC for CI16 - SIMATIC
S7-315 for CI16DP. This means that SIJECT 16 can be programmed,
parameterized and configured using the SIMATIC Manager and standard
- STEP 7, which are known worldwide.
SIJECT15 was especially designed for
the Chinese/Asian markets. This is the reason that all outputs
switch w.r.t. a negative potential (n circuit configuration). On
the other hand, SIJECT16 will be marketed globally which is why it
is marketed switching w.r.t. a positive potential (P circuit
configuration) (international version).
