Description
The table below lists the SIMATIC standard output modules that are authorized for fail-safe switch-off. The authorization refers to the specified

• SIL (Safety Integrity Level) when using the IEC 62061 standard.
• PL (Performance Level) when using the ISO 13849-1:2006 standard.

The standard output modules not listed in the tables were not considered in relation to safety. They are therefore not released for fail-safe operation.

The following holds for a potential group of ET 200S, ET 200L and ET 200pro.
You may only use the standard output modules specified in the table for fail-safe switching off, which means that you may not use any additional standard digital input modules, standard analog input modules, counter modules etc. You must establish a separate potential group for these.

If the PM-E power module is switched off safely, all the PM-E power modules can be used for the power supply for the ET 200S standard modules listed below. Otherwise, a PM-E F must be used.
