Configuration Notes
If you use a High Feature I/O module, then you do not necessarily have to use a High Feature interface module. Basically, you can use the ET 200S modules regardless of the version of the interface module used.
The scope of modules in the GSD files and in the STEP 7 hardware catalog is identical.

In the distributed I/O system there are the following versions of the interface module IM that can be combined at will with the latest electronic modules:

Interface module Manual
IM 151-1 BASIC 25548007
IM 151-1 STANDARD (IM 151-1 ST) 25548014
IM 151-1 Fiber Optic (IM 151-1 FO) 25548021
IM 151-1 High Feature (IM 151-1 HF) 25548028
IM 151-3 PN STANDARD (IM 151-3 PN ST) 25383650
IM 151-3 PN Fiber Optic (IM 151-3 PN FO) 25388610
30598131
IM 151-3 PN High Feature (IM 151-3 PN HF) 25385632
30609285
IM 151-7 CPU 12714722
IM 151-8 CPU 29738847

Entry ID 21406019 provides the structure limits for configuring ET 200S modules.

Note:
Certain electronic modules cannot be used with the above-mentioned interface modules or only from a defined version onwards. A list of these electronics modules is given in the manual of the interface module concerned.

There are also I/O modules that can only be implemented after certain interface modules.
