The Logo! CSM Compact Switch Modul expands the SIMATIC NET product family by an unmanaged switch in Logo! format.

The module serves to connect a Logo! (...0BA7) unit and up to 3 additional nodes to an Industrial Ethernet network with 10/100 Mbit/s in electrical line, tree or star structure.

The salient features of Logo! CSM are:

-    4-port unmanaged switch

-    unproblematic connection due to 4 RJ45 standard plug-in connectors

-    1 Ethernet port on the front of the module for direct diagnostic access in the switchboard

Logo! CSM is a Industrial Ethernet switch in compact modular design for the latest Logo! generation with Ethernet connection (…0BA7) .

Logo! CSM can be used to multiply the Ethernet interface of Logo!, to enable simultaneous communication to HMI units and programming devices, additional controllers, or the Office world.

The arrangement of the 4 Ethernet ports is such, that external access to the ports (e.g. for diagnostic purposes) is availabe without any problems.
