ANSWER:

Installation sequence:
The installation of Switch ES Power has to be done before the installation of further SIRIUS ES software products. Otherwise a component fault could occur (50::0033).

Background:
The setup of Switch ES Power installs its version of components without having controlled an already installed more recent version. Thereby, an incompatible installation of SIRIUS ES platform components can occur.

Solution:
First of all, all Siemens IA&DT software products (see uninstalling sequence) followed by Switch ES Power have to be uninstalled. Then, Switch ES Power has to be installed primary followed by further Siemens IA&DT software products.


Uninstalling sequence:
Please consider that Switch ES Power has to be uninstalled after uninstalling all remaining Siemens IA&DT software products. Otherwise uninstalling problems of Siemens IA&DT software products could occur.

Background:
If Switch ES Power is installed as first Siemens IA&DT software product on the target system and uninstalled before all other Siemens IA&DT software products (which Siemens IA&DT setup frames use), the registry entries will be deleted under:HKLM\Software}Siemens\Shared Tools. This means that the UninstallString is not available any more and an uninstalling of further Siemens products can not occur.

Solution:
Incomplete uninstalled products have to be installed again and subsequently to be uninstalled.
