A software to control the status display is now available for the industry PC SIMATIC BOX PC 627.

 
The SIMATIC Box PC 627 has a status display. It consits of:

• 2x 7-segment display (Port 80 display)
• 2x LEDs  "H1" and "H2" (both two colored, red/green)

This display indicates the BIOS cycle via the 2x 7-segment display. Now, the SIMATIC PC LED status monitor software additionally allows you to conveniently control the status display to indicate operating conditions (OK, process step, error, ...). The software can also be used to display the status of the PC, e.g. for unattended PC stations without screen and keyboard, like the Thin Client solutions. Suitable interfaces and sources are available for use in customized applications under Windows, Linux, or in realtime operating systems, e.g. RMOS.

This enables you to introduce software elements to customized applications that will provide fast and efficient diagnostics in the case of a fault.
