DRIVDBx generator, adapted ini file.
Part number:

QUESTION:
An S7 project was created. The following were connected as DP slaves: One Masterdrives, several Simodrive 611U, several ET200 M stations and an OP270. After calling the DRIVDBx generator from the DriveES package, entries are generated in the drive DRIVDBx for all (!!!) slaves; this also means for ET200 M and OP270.

ANSWER:
This behavior can occur on all computers where a Drivees.ini file, with a date between 16.05.2001 and 19.06.2002 is installed in the directory LW:\siemens\step7\DriveES\DBConfig.
Background: Reserve areas were set-up in the ini file for future products. These areas are designated with an X. Now, all of the products are transferred into the DRIVDBx which have at least one X in the Order No. The areas with X_reserve/ are designated in the new file.

Please unzip the attached zip file which only contains the drives.ini, copy this into the directory: LW:\siemens\step7\DriveES\DBConfig and overwrite the existing Drivees.ini . Then, after starting the DRIVDBx generator, only the drives are set-up in the DrivDBx.
